ABOUT US
Orphans Cake Foundation is an orphan-centered NGO registered under the Ghana Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) working with a priority of transforming the lives of orphans using Design Thinking Methodology to effectively and efficiently plan and execute advocacy and edutainment projects to transform the lives of orphans and their care-givers
.
Education is an integral part of a human development; both formal and informal education is extremely vital in our societies to churn out responsible individuals than deviants and also provide career paths.

At Orphans Cake Foundation, our priority is to provide add-ons, excitement, plus opportunities in education to children who are deprived of their biological parents due to certain challenges beyond their control. These are children perceived as not to have the very best although their care-givers go a long way to keep them supported.

What education means to us:
(1) Every child needs quality education. It is one key ingredient in anyone’s life that cannot be ignored regardless of family status or the society from which they come from.
(2) The experience to a good livelihood for children is important to us. At Orphans Cake Foundation, we strive to get orphans educated and improve their academics. Through this, children create fond memories which forms an important part of their childhood.

SUCCESS STORY
Over the four year period the Foundation has been in existence, it has formulated a series of annual projects for sixteen (16) homes i.e. Rising Star Home, Village of Hope, Christ Foster Home, Orphanaid, Nectar Foundation, SOS (Asiakwa), Good Shepherd, Mums care, St Anns home, Tina Care, Helping Hand, Ghana make a difference, Jehovah Rapha Foundation, Marcoff Foundation, Hour of Grace Home and SOS (Kumasi) that has transformed one thousand two hundred and fifty five (1255) lives through mentoring programs, provision of personal needs and fun-filled activities.

These projects have come in to support children from these homes with the opportunity to hand pick desired educational materials to meet some of their many demands. We have also created opportunities to have fun with children from these homes to make them feel belonged and loved. We however also present ourselves as mentors to them and encourage them in their studies, career guidance and sometimes teaching or engaging in some academic activities with them.
